A: Pours a murky medium to dark bright golden orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate amounts of bright yellow + bright orange + burnt orange + dark golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a large patch of mottled very thin film covering approximately 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Just shy of strong aromas of juicy tropical/mango, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/tangerine, tropical/pineapple, and stone fruit/apricot hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + slightly toasted + caramel + honey + oat malts with a moderate amount of caramel + honey sweetness.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + slightly toasted + caramel + honey + oat malts with a moderate amount of caramel + honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/tangerine, tropical/pineapple, and stone fruit/apricot hops which impart a minimal amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a moderate lingering citrus + tropical hop flavor.

M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body along with light amounts of dryness in the finish. Light to moderate amounts of alcohol warming are present as well.

O: Drinks pretty easily considering the strength of this TIPA but the alcohol is not completely hidden. Enjoyable with just enough sweetness to not be cloying and a really pleasant citrus + tropical hop profile. I want to have another of these but know that at 10.5% that is not the best decision on a weeknight.
