Picked up a can while volunteering at the Eighth State festival on 7-27-24. No canning date; consumed 8-9-24.
Beer poured a hazy light orange with a very nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is a mix of fresh citrus and woody hops.
Taste is a substantive pale malt base that lays the foundation for hopping that give me orange, grapefruit, mango, and some herbal combination that is giving a garlic/onion flavor. Finishes with a nice piney hop bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and extremely soft and smooth.
Overall, an interesting use of hops, getting that herbal combo flavor was unusual but seem to be getting this lately in IPAs.

A: Pours a murky medium to dark golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and moderate golden yellow + bright yellow + burnt orange + orange + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that reduces to a large patch of very slightly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of slightly juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, pine, and herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel + oat + wheat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + oat + wheat malts with a just shy of moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of slightly juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, pine, and herbal hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a light to moderate lingering tropical + citrus hop flavor.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a great combination of hop flavors and aromas. Definitely one that I would consider grabbing again (if they make it again).
