A revamped recipe of the first batch we brewed in our new home in Wilson, NC! This beer was brewed with a Variety of English Malts, as well as Flaked Barley, Rye, and Oats. Hopped with Centennial and Cascade.

The canned version has Liquid Nitrogen added for a cask ale experience. If enjoying this in a can, simply SHAKE THREE TIMES AND POUR HARD into your favorite pint glass!

A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active carbonation (nitrogenation) rising slowly along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + amber + peach + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of finger thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of toasted + bready + toffee + oat + wheat malts with light amounts of toffee sweetness. Light aromas of earthy + floral + citrus/grapefruit zest hops.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of toasted + bready + toffee + oat + wheat malts with light amounts of toffee sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of earthy + floral + citrus/grapefruit zest hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving light lingering malty flavors.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth, almost creamy.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasantly creamy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with more subtle hop presence and a nice malt backbone. Could easily have a few of these and would gladly - I would love to find this one on cask sometime.
