A: Pours a clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate amber + medium golden yellow + copper colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall pillowy sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a handful of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of biscuit + bready + grainy + caramel malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. Moderate aromas of lager yeast. Finally there is a light aroma of spicy + citrus/lime zest + floral hops.
T: Upfront there are lightly stronger than moderate flavors of biscuit + bready + grainy + caramel malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of lager yeast. Finally there is a light flavor of spicy + citrus/lime zest + floral hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with smooth mid-body, a hint of dryness, and a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and pleasantly light + clean mouthfeel. Really great traditional malt + hop + yeast flavors - authentic. Would gladly have a few of these - pairs nicely with my big pretzel and some mustard.
