Pours a nice dark amber color with a slight head and lacing.
Aroma has malty earthy hints.
The taste follows the nose with a nice smooth balanced malt earthly flavor
A light bodied well carbonated beer.
Well done well balanced Irish Red Ale

Purchased as a single can from The Blue Door for $4.50. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
L - Mahogany and clear, with a one-finger pale khaki head that goes away quickly. Lacing is okay.
S - Lightly-roasted coffee, toffee, and dark bread. Mineral.
T - Alfalfa. Grass. Burnt sugar. Black bread. Balanced.
F - Medium-bodied, with fine carbonation. A bit heavy.
O - Much too heavy, if I'm honest. The flavors coming through aren't exactly reminiscent of an Irish Red, but they don't necessarily make it bad. I definitely won't get this one again, though.
