16 ounce can into a snifter. Had 11/19/22.
Pours a mostly opaque dark brown, with a half inch quickly dissipating foamy head and some oily cling. Aromas of bourbon, cherries, malt, caramel, chocolate, raisins, spices, light whiskey and port, some brown sugar. Flavors of bourbon, some port, cherries, raisins, malt, chocolate, spices, some caramel, citrus peel when warmed. Smooth, a solid lighter full body, appropriately carbonated.
A terrific blend of styles and barrels. The cherries and raisins star among the many distinct aromas and flavors. Thought this was really good and enjoyable.

Picked up a can from the Blue Door Bottle Shop in Hendersonville 10-18-22 for $8.50. No canning date; consumed 1-14-23.
Beer poured dark brown with a nice off-white head with the original pour.
Nose is sweet with large fruity malts dominating.
Taste is a huge malt base that gives you a light touch of roasted malts, dark fruits, some vanilla from the bourbon barrels and a slight sour tang from the port barrels. Finishes a scootch sweet but in the manner of an English Barleywine.
Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and very smooth.
Overall a unique take on the barleywine and imperial stout styles, kind of in the style of Firestone Walker Anniversary series but with the additions for their own special touch. Check this out if you are up for a taste adventure!!

Oh man where to start with this. Two beer styles, 3 barrels, 4 extra additions...all in 1 can! There is so much going on I don't know where to start. Everything comes in waves and each sip seems to be different. Chocolate and cherries are both prominent, I also get plenty of cinnamon, toffee, and grape-y spirits. There are hints of raisin, vanilla, and graham cracker. Amazingly enough, this works really well. So glad I got to try this, thanks Tom!

Can into pint glass. Pours an oily black with a small, brief light tan head. No lacing. Initial impression is chocolate, dark fruits, and booze. Mouthfeel is slick, thick, and smooth. Alcohol is fairly well hidden, but you know it's there. Finish fades to a sweetish blend of dark fruits and cocoa. Dangerous but delightful!
