Guided by faith in God and the North Star, Harriet Tubman led hundreds of slaves to freedom and helped ignite the abolitionist cause. Later, she fought for women’s suffrage with the same conviction that carried her through the darkness.
“The Faithful Conductor” honors her courage and grace—an Apple Brandy & Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout layered with dark cocoa, toasted oak, and apple tartness, balanced in strength, depth, and enduring spirit that still lights the way.

Many thx to CarolinaCardinals for the can!
A - Pitch black pour with uber thin caramel colored lacing and little to no carbonation.
S - Delicate roasted chocolate char with Bourbon. Overall, the aroma smells a little "green".
T - Delicate chocolate malt base with Bourbon, oak char, some cherry, and ends on the slightly boozier side with light chocolate char and a small amount of acidic cherry with underlying vanilla on the backside.
M - Medium body with a silky texture and leaves a slight residue on the lips with some warming in the back of the throat.
O - A solid beer, I'm wondering if I should have let this one sit for several months more to meld some of the flavor.
