Deep dark brown but not black. Light does shine through. Modest, lasting lace. Near blanketing lace.
Burnt toast aroma. There's an element of cat pee in the background (a strong but muted sourness).
The burnt malt is up front and dominating but not overwhelming. The body is thin with a raised level of carbonation. The aftertaste is a blend of hop and blacket patent malt bitterness. Lots of bread.
