Tasted this beer on tap at Brewer's Republic in Co. Springs at a special Holiday release. Served in a firkin.
A: Dark, thick, little to no head that disappeared quickly (likely due to tapping style).
S: Chocolate, hints of coffee, and subtle mint aroma. An invigorating and inviting smell.
T: Roasted malts, chocolate, milk, and mint. Addicting flavor- kept me happily sipping until the very end. Solid and tasty stout. The mint flavor made the stout surprisingly refreshing.
M: Zero to light carbonation. Heavy but leaves the palate easily.
O: I liked this version better that Left Hand's original Milk Stout. The mint makes it very refreshing and drinkable. I would definitely recommend it if you can find it!
