The beer pours a dark gold color with a white/offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a nice hoppy scent that is floral and quite aromatic. It also boasts a pale and light crystal malt base that adds balance to the aroma. The taste is good also. It has a malt base of pale and light crystal malts that lays the foundation for the loads of hops. It goes down easy and finishes dry and quite bitter. This isn't the best Imperial IPA ou there, but it's flavor is good enough. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking beer, but not the best in the market. The malt content is lacking complexity and the hop character needs some adjustment. Overall, a pretty good beer.
