Hazy, golden color. Aroma of citrus, pine, and malt with light notes of spices. Strong hoppy bitterness in taste is balanced by malt. Full body. Lingering bitterness at the end.

I quite enjoyed it was cheap goes down easy and is quite smooth for its high gravity caliber. I believe I picked up a can in Ohio but I don't think I would travel to get it again but well worth a pint if found local.

12 oz can from Berts. Pale golden, lightly cloudy, small but persistent creamy head. Aroma is light, citrusy hops, floral, touch of sweetness. Taste starts sweet, turns over to some zesty hops, lactose like flavor as well. Bitterness lingers for a while. DIPA but still fairly crushable.

Six-pack copped from Total Wine and More in West Orange. Pours a hazy golden hue with moderate frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of rich citrus and creamy grapefruit. Thick mouthfeel. The flavor seems quite unbalanced. Oily finish.

CAN
Steady, rocky white froth over slight hazy dark orange.
Candied orange + ripe cantaloupe on the nose.
Sugar cookie malts, sweet tangerine, melon, mango, some salt, specks of pine + weed, floral end.
Clean, dry, slight bitterness.

El Dorado, Galaxy, Citra, Comet, Cascade
A bright, clean, new school, Voodoo Ranger-esque DIPA that's not NEIPA at all.
This is all rainbows: Citra honeydew, El D candy fruit, and Galaxy tropical leading - the resiny + wild sides of Cascade + Comet, respectively, are strictly guest appearances.
The earthy hop bass notes (along with honey malt sweetness) do deepen as this opens up, but that’s still not giving it the complexity to make this worth being almost 9%.
Bouncy + fun, but doesn’t stand next to similar DIPAs.

$9.04 USD plus tax per sixer at a beer store in Colorado:
12 fl oz pull-tab can. "Dry hopped Double IPA." Best by: 06/12/21.
Hopped with El Dorado, Galaxy, Citra, Comet & Cascade hops. 8.7% ABV. 55 IBUs. "MALT 2-Row, Wheat, Rolled Oats."
Hop profile isn't standout. Has a warm booziness that drags down its drinkability. Floral, a bit citrusy, fruity, not very tropical...hop pungency and depth of hop flavour are not where one would want them in an imperial IPA.
Forgettable and a bit boozy. Luckily, it's affordable, but I'd sooner just buy Lagunitas Sucks if I want a solid imperial IPA on a budget.

This is an old school DIPA. Very malty with mostly caramel and biscuit flavors. Not getting much citrus at all. Nice packaging and decent price. Picked up a six pack that was pretty fresh. This is not an easy drinking beer. It has a little bite and a boozy finish.

12oz can poured into a Sam Adams PP; pours out mildly hazy with a golden hue and a thick, creamy off-white head. Aromatics are definitely there but in more of a 'general' sense than I was expecting; tropical fruit, mild dankness and grapefruit, candied orange, papaya, apricot, and very faint spice. There is a present sweetness that reminds you its a double IPA along with the medium-to-full body. Expected more from this one, but its not bad.

Poured into a 13 oz Nordic pint glass best before 6/12/21. Pours a cloudy orange with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with nice retention. 4.25
Aroma mango, papaya, pine, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows papaya, mango, pine, apricot, and grapefruit really balanced with a little bitterness. 4
Mouthfeel is pretty big, a tad sticky but not dry, plenty of carbonation, and at 8.7% it goes down rather easy. 4
Overall this is a really nice DIPA kind of a East meets West hybrid and really well made at a great price. 4
