Crisp & effervescent with a refreshing burst of lime and spicy ginger kick.
Inspired by the lively spirit of a Moscow Mule, this refreshing ale delivers the vibrant flavors of the classic cocktail with the body and hop benefits you can only experience in a beer. Lime juice & lime peel combine with fresh ginger for tartness and subtle heat. The addition of oats creates a smooth texture and Lemondrop hops provide an extra pop of citrus zing. Cool down with a kick of this Mule at a crushable 5.5% ABV.
Malts: 2-Row, CaraFoam, Rolled Oats, Flaked Barley
Hops: Lemondrop, CTZ
Other: Ginger, Lime Juice
IBU: 26

Tastes like a Moscow mule, but without the major alcohol content. It’s actually a refreshing drink - the lime and ginger really works. Makes me think this would be a great summertime drink.

This one sounds pretty strange. I love a good Moscow mule so I just had to pick it up, but I’m not sure how well those flavors will translate into a beer, especially with a pale ale base. Despite picking it up without thought when I saw it, I’ve forgotten about it for a few months now until I just discovered it in the back of the fridge. Let’s check it out
Pours a cloudy pale yellow with 2 fingers of white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
Oh wow, the ginger/lime combination is the nose here is really nice, a perfect blend of citrus and earth. I’m picking up on aromas of lime juice, cardamom, shaved ginger, bready malt, toasted grain, and orange zest
It loses touch a bit in taste but it still retains some good character. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange zest, cooked ginger, lime juice, crackery malt, and earthy wheat. The swallow brings notes of lime juice, cooked ginger, crackery malt, and lightly spicy hops
A light medium body pairs with moderate tingling carbonation, resulting in an effervescent and crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a light malty sweetness
This isn’t as bad as people are making it out to be. It’s a bit out there, but certainly not offensive. I think ginger is just a polarizing flavor profile

I'm rolling all my cans now before cracking them. If you don't, you're a doofus. Actually if you do, you're a doofus. Do what you want, I don't care!
I'm going to sneakily pour this into a Batch 19 Pint Glass. Why sneakily? Hell, I dunno. Maybe it's what Batman would do. Maybe it's what people from Moscow do. I'm just doing what I'm told. Wait what?
Chill hazed, MF'er. Blonde. Cute little white finger of head that recedes to a pool of soupy white T-1000 and leaves a few dots and splotches of lacing on the glass walls.
Aroma is really awesome and refreshing. It reminds me of walking down the hall adjacent to the community pool at a Ramkota (or other major hotel, just fill in the blanks). There's a good dose of clean chlorine and ginger with very slight pine needle, hotel air freshener, and moist towel.
Flavor is like chewing on a cardboard box and belching up phantoms from your ginger root supplement. There's a little more flavor on the finish with some chlorophyll and green tea but it's mostly a pile of poo.
Feel is a tug of war between crisp and watery, and ultimately no one wins. Slight alcohol heat on this one, some burn from the ginger, and a slightly starchy finish.
Overall, I should have left this one on the shelf. I know I'm the only sucker in this town that probably bought it because I like Moscow Mules and Pale Ales and thought somehow putting some faith in Left Hand to properly execute this was a good idea. BELCH. Nope. Pass on this one even if you're thirsty.

Im pretty into this, there's not much hop flavor because of the lime and ginger but the pale ale base is pretty different to me for this style of beer. I feel like I taste the ginger a smidge more since it isn't sour.
