Aggressive can pour into a tulip glass. The nitro cascading action is decent but not as good as most. Aroma is unmistakably key lime pie, and the flavor is similar but too heavy on the cinnamon and tending towards "hot" (alcohol-wise). Mouthfeel is very smooth but too flat, even accounting for it being nitro. Overall it's not close to my favorite nitro or key lime pie beers. But my wife liked it, which is good because we have another can.

Purchased 3 months from cans listed expiration date. Bought at Total Wine as a single.

Overall I wasn't impressed with this one. I normally love a good nitro but the widget in the can didn't exactly "nitro" anything. I heard it pop but had no head on the beer with no cascading which was disappointing, I blame the old can. The beer tasted like a sour and didn't come off as a "lime flavored beer" which was nice, wasn't too artificial. The cinnamon notes were not great, but expected for a pie flavored beer.

I wouldn't buy again, but was glad to try it.

I'm not a sour fan. No, really, I'm not a sour fan. I like this one. The flavor of key lime pie captured in a beer. Canned, nitro. Pour it down the middle. Beautiful waterfall up the glass. Nice fluffy, very white head. Sour key lime followed by graham crackers, and vanilla. Great stuff for me.

BB 9.18.23

Poured at fridge temp into a willi glass

Pours a fairly dark and cloudy gold with a lovely and persistent creamy foam top. Lacing is nearly a solid and dense sheet. 4

Key Lime is very present and clear on the nose. Slight biscuit/graham cracker sweetness as well. Aroma is spot as advertised. 4

Not really sour, though lime juice does come though with a very soft tartness. Mostly lime and a touch of biscuit/cookie if I really stretch it. 3.75

Soft and milky body, thin, slight alcohol warmth in the throat, but it disappears quickly. 3.75

Overall a pleasant and atypical desert beer, this is much lighter body-wise than I was expecting for the 7.3%. would get again, though not regularly, as I typically go for something more savory. 3.75

Key Lime Pie pours golden bronze, with a long lasting, creamy head. Notes of key lime. Flavor is key lime, gram cracker, and hints of vanilla. Good silky feel.

lactose, lime, vanilla, and cinnamon in this tasty and summery dessert sour. slightly deeper color than is common, more rusty orange toned than pale, and the nitrogenation from the tall can is good. the nose here is cinnamon forward, almost a graham cracker thing, works like pie crust to my sense of smell. the vanilla is bold and makes this kind of sweet, and i get why the lactose is in this, but it seems unnecessary, it doesnt make it feel creamy, the nitro does that, and the sweetness makes it a small doses thing, even though it is appealing. the lime is zesty and real, and this definitely hits like pie to me. the flavors are all there, more cinnamon they ive ever gotten in the real pie, but its weirdly compatible with the acidic lime and the fairly clean lactic souring this has, its not too sour, some malt in support too, but this too sort of lends to the pie crust vibe. love the lime coming first through all this, the vanilla highlights it well, and even though this might be over flavored and a little less than fully natural to me, there is no denying it tastes good, even if its super sweet all the way. fun flavors, i get the appeal, but the large can is not a great dosage for this, and they could make a more drinkable brew by toning down the sugar. still, this is cool.

Poured from a can. Nitro pours are always fun. Orangish with tan head turning more golden as it settles down. Smells of grain, slight lime and a hint of sweet. Flavors of lime and grain with a hint of sour. Very faint flavors of key lime pie come through after a couple of sips but if you didn't know what it was supposed to be you might not figure it out. I don't hate it but would never get it again.
