Nitro tap. Poured into a clear plastic cup.
Appearance - Very dark brown, near-black body. Light-medium brown head with great lacing and retention. 4.5
Smell - Very oaky. Whisky. Coffee. Mild chocolate. Vanilla? 4.5
Taste - Strong. Alcoholic. Some nice balancing astringency. Like a barley wine and milk stout combined. Creamy sweetness. 4.5
Mouthfeel - Plenty of alcoholic crispness. Some creaminess. 4.5
Overall - Probably Left Hand's most complex and delicious beer. 4.5

Poured from the tap.
The beer poured a very nice looking clear copper-ish colour.
There were clear notes of malts, cinnamon, and other earthy spices t the nose.
The beer tasted very balanced with malts, cinnamon, orange, with a spiced-hop finish. Very mild and pleasing.
Would I buy it again? Yes.
