Poured a blackish body that is actually seethru when held to light (guess it could be dark brown, then) with lace ring around glass. The aroma is less hoppy than expected and instead more of a sweet malt aroma. Beer tastes the same as it goes down like a simple but traditional schwarzbier with notes of caramel and toffee sweetness (hint of dark chocolate). The hops are barely there and that's not a bad thing as this is an easy drinking, mostly sweet but not overly sweet, beer.
