From the pint can, it pours a deep dark brown with a modest light brown head that soon diminishes to a ring. The nose gets some chocolate ice cream, followed by the mouth roasted and dark malts with a modest chocolate flavor. Seems a touch thin for a stout.

Good solid stout. Pours a dense dark brown color with no light coming through. Medium size dark tan head with good retention and some lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly sweet bready malt with mild chocolate and vanilla notes. Taste has strong bready and toasted malt and more pronounced chocolate than the nose. Vanilla is fairly mild but that is find by me, since I don't like most vanilla porters and stouts!!!! Mouthfeel is rich and smooth, no alcohol presence to speak of. goes down easy - a rich, sipping beer. I like this one!!!!!

Keep this one simple. Dark color with mild fluffy head and the small of chocolate syrup. Tastes like a bowl of vanilla and chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup. Decent mouthfeel, alcohol is a pretty good player

L) Pours a silky dark espresso color, and swirls with a creamy viscosity. There is a lovely toasty brown head with good retention.
S) There is some roastiness on the nose, and definitely a smidge of icecream, but it all seems a bit muted. This is one to let warm up before even sniffing.
T) It has dark fig and currant notes, with intense coffee roastiness, and a nice little creamy icecream note to round it out. I wish the ice cream was more forward though, this is hardly a desert stout.
F) The beer has medium carbonation, with a velvety mouthfeel. A pleasure to sip.
O) This is an incredibly solid stout in its own right, but it could use a bit more ice cream in the profile to truly be an ice cream desert stout (if that was the goal).

Poured a black body with one-finger head and left a bit of a lace ring. Slight chocolate and vanilla aromas but mostly a burnt chocolate and roasted malt aroma. Thicker bodied, which I guess you could say is like ice cream, has some chocolate/vanilla sweetness but again more of a regular (slightly bland) dry, roasted malt feel and a bit toasty on the finish. Not a bad beer but this isn't a dessert beer by any stretch.
