Made in collaboration with Gordon Biersch of Va Beach, I believe. Poured a clear gold body with soapy head and lace ring down the glass. Grainy aroma but has a spicy clove and banana scent in aroma as well. Dry and light beer, a little grainy, a little offbalance as at times this dryness (almost blandness) is replaced, rather than mixes/balances with, a thick, caramel banana sweetness/yeast feel and touch of spice/clove on the thick finish. Interesting beer that if they get the kinks straightened out (or just go for a pure dopplebock) would be something I'd go for again.
