Poured a black body with minimal head and lace ring down the glass. The bourbon barrel aging adds a woodiness to the aroma but at same time lessens the bacon/meaty aroma of the original. Smooth, even creamy, the woodiness is there and makes it easy to drink; I can see why beer is labeled as an oatmeal stout by brewery b/c it has sweetness (tad vanilla) and the stout aspects, especially the meatiness aspect from original, is not there and drinks like a sweet stout.
