1 QUART crowler
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with three inches of mocha head that leaves some pretty nice lacing.
I get aromas of chocolate and cocoa.
The flavor begins with a chocolate and roasted malt flavor. The finish is unsweetened chocolate with some black coffee bitterness.
Full, creamy mouthfeel
This was one of the better beers that I tried at the brewery. It was bold to name the beer Breakfast Stout with Founders in the same state and Maumee Bay down the highway who each make delicious "breakfast stouts". It is a solid beer from a young brewery.
