this place is awesome, over in the placa with the movie theater off of santa fe, what a great spot. i have to confess, i was real close to judging a book by its cover here, a hunting theme and all, i was thinking it would be hickish and low quality, and im so glad i was wrong. the pace is gorgeous despite the strip mall setting, seven barrel brew house in the back, expansive taproom with hand made bar and furniture, anything but generic in this day and age of cookie cutter breweries. they had as many as eight or nine beers on, several of which were really inventive. i had a sweet potato and marshmallow belgian dubbel that was excellent, as well as a maple almond cinnamon honey vanilla porter, which was authentic and delicious. even their more basic and user friendly styles were very well made, and the service was the best i have encountered in denver. the owner and brewer team was there, telling us their story, generously sharing samples, and making sure we were happy and enjoying. they were genuine and kind and it made us feel so welcome. you can tell they paid attention to detail in here, even the bathrooms were cleverly designed and decorated. i was blown away honestly, it exceeded my expectation by miles. go check this place out, you will not be let down!
