Look: Pours a burnt orange amber color with a one finger head of khaki foam that laces the glass well.
Aroma: Toasted almonds, toffee and caramel with a touch of baked apple.
Taste: Flavor follows the nose, only more floral and bitter. There's a clean bite of noble hop grassiness upfront, that transitions into chewy flavors of almond butter and baked apple strudel. Finishes on a malty note of toffee / brown sugar, with suggestions of raw honey, complemented by more of that upfront floral/grassiness.
Feel: Mid-light body with moderate levels of carbonation. Sessionable; doesn't weight you down or fill you up.
Overall: Enjoyable representation of the style that's tasty and easy to put down due to a good balance of flavors. H&S is one of Chattanooga's best breweries in my opinion; this classic interpretation of a marzen is testament to that.

Had Rocktoberfest poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "09/01/21," into Seidel.
Pours deep amber with clarity and 1 & 1/2-finger very light-tan head, which dissipates to a persistent ring which leaves no lace. Big aroma of sweet malt off pour, joined by some sharp fruit and hop spice as warms. Begins with sweet malt, chased with hop bite and nice Noble hop spices, before the smooth, malty body carries through what is initially a crisp, even alcoholic finish, but which does grow a bit sticky.
Except for the somewhat sticky finish, a sprightly example of a traditional Oktoberfest Märzen Lager.

I'm trying this beer at the brewery . It poured a clear copper with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had faint malt and grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Stamped canning date on can bottom is '09/25/18'.
Clear, dark amber colored body. A slight bubbly head upon pouring goes away quickly, leaving only rising bubbles. No lacing.
Aroma is toasty, bready malts, and slight floral hops.
Taste is toasted malts and toffee. Along with the floral hops.
Thin to medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
This beer does not have depth nor complexity for flavors, but it is pleasant enough to drink as a session fest beer. The beer has a little sweetness that balances with a caramel/toffee/woody aspect, and then has the floral hops. Not in the upper tier of fest beers but certainly represents itself well.
