Fool's Pyrite! This Schist is actual Gold! Our newest hazy Pale ale offers up huge citrus character with a dusting of stonefruit. Late hop additions of Trident Sabro and Lemon Drop make this one a tasty treat for the new year!

Had Fool's Pyrite poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "01/23/23," into small tulip "pint."
Pours deep, hazy gold, with 1-finger off-white head, with good retention, pulling splotchy lace down the glass. Grassy hop and sweet stone fruit aromas off pour, then a little citrus rind, and more stone fruit as warms. On tasting, begins creamy, from barely-there mild malt, which creamy mild malt body continues into a little mild citrus rind bite, then more straight hop bite, with some sweet (pear) and tart (mild peach) stone fruit joining before a clean APA finish.
Not as citrusy as billed, but a smooth, lazily hazy, otherwise nicely traditional APA.
