Handsome dark golden amber brew with plenty of foam in the Blanche de Chambly goblet. A little sparkly on the tongue but less carbonation than you might expect. Made with oats and has a little of the silky feel. I don't know how to call this a Cream Ale, and it's a little of a strange duck.
Warm and malty with a sharp edge. A little grainy and some of what I call the Long Island Ice Tea taste. Some sugar and a hint of orange peel. Just a slight bitter finish. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the brewery tap in Yakima. This bottled version is 4.70%.
