Very handsome brew with the red-orange amber color and lots of lacing in the Ciney snifter. Pleasant aroma of malt and some flowery hops. A hint of cedar wood and slight astringency on the tongue. Mouth-filling and rather rich.
Quite malty with roasted grain and caramel flavors. This is really very drinkable with the lower alcohol than American-style IPAs, and gives you the hoppy zing without modest bitterness. This bottled version is 5.70%. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the brewery tasting room in Yakima for five bucks.
