On tap at RiverBank Taphouse (Northern Quest Casino). A decent porter. The smoke flavor tastes a little artificial, and the mouthfeel is a little thin. But it's a good porter.

Technically it's a wine barrel aged (66% carménère/33% cab franc) smoked porter. It's dark but not opaque. Up to a light it has a dark brown burnt caramel look with little to no head and minimal lacing. Smell is faint but great. It has a great mix of smoke and leather. Too bad the smell isn't more prominent. Taste is superb. Mellow chocolate with red wine accents. An earthy body with dark fruit sweetness. Mouth feel is smooth and clean on the drink and dry on the finish. Overall a very nice offering for a seasonal release!
