Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a cloudy light gold color with a half-inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.
As expected, the beer was malt forward in the nose, with yeast spice also being notable.
Same on the tongue; somewhat sweet malts, spicy and bitey yeast.
The body was on the light side of medium, smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, especially if you're a fan of the style (which I am).
Overall, a solid, but not notable, example. A few tweaks and this could really be a standout brew. Worth trying.
