Poured from 16oz can acquired at the brewery into a tulip.
Appearance: very haze light-golden hue with a thin layer of frothy eggshell foam atop. It has all the turbidity required by the style.
Smell: lightly sweet and malty, with a subtle mango, orange and papaya fruitiness. Pretty much the definition of a tropical hazy IPA, although a little bit more intensity would be great.
Taste: a taste to match the aroma, albeit with a little bit more earthiness. The aroma is more mango and orange, and the flavor is more papaya and malt. Bitterness is very low -- perfect for the style.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess. I like a good creaminess in a hazy IPA, and this one is not bad.
Overall: although a tad more body and/or carbonation would be great here, I think this beer is marvelously drinkable. Kudos!
