Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium, coppery amber with a fine, half finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and mixed fruit hops, over-ripe light stone fruit, faint orange and a hint of pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine and a little dankness; assertive piney finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess; nice mouthfeel. Starts out somewhat mellow with lots of grapefruit and a bit of dankness, then pine builds to lightly astringent pine sap. Bitterness is OK, but a bit restrained. A bit more bitterness in the finish would support the strong pine notes, but overall a good West Coast leaning hop profile. Looks great.

Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a lightly hazy gold color with a half-inch of white head that had OK retention and lacing.
The aroma had a light touch of sweetness, but was dominated by C hops, probably Cascade.
Same on the tongue, with that pleasing C hop bitterness showing through even more.
The body was the typical medium of the style, had a nice bit of coarseness, and a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, the kind of IPA you could have a couple of without getting bored.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew. Worth trying if you see it.
