Bottle, bb in 5m.
Reddish mahogany, more carbonation than I expected from the style.
Aroma is prune soup, barrel, dark syrup, sour cherry. Unique and very good. Alcohol as well.
Taste is rye bread, very distinctly rye bread. Malt. Smoothness. Yummy. Alcohol well hidden. Aftertaste has a bit of bitter/burning spice, probably the caraway. Mouthfeel is excellent.
Overall a very balanced BA beer, rye is really well handled here.. instead of angular spiciness, we have sweet rye bread.

Mahogany color with light beige head. Aroma is malty, sugary with some woody liquor notes. Taste is well balanced with earthy and woody notes, some spicy notes from the rye, light caramel and light bitterness on the aftertaste. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Quite nice overall, malty with dried fruit notes.

Clear brownish colour, similar to a Coke. Reduced foam.
Smell of honey and ripped fruits.
The taste is sweet, with a hint of sourness. Dried fruits and ripped fruits (plumps, grapes), some nuts and caramel.
A sweet coffee aftertaste and (maybe) some faint woody notes.
I was expecting a bit more from this beer to be frank.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours dark brown with considerable head (on an aggressive pour). Nose is incredible. Caramel, wheat, wood chips, grapes, and oak. Taste is extremely subtle. Diffused notes of nuts, wood, caramel, grapes, figs, and cherries. Really interesting. Mouthfeel is medium, with a lingering sweetness. Maybe a bit dry. Overall, fantastic rye wine.
