Black with no head, just a tiny sliver of mocha around the glass. Smell has strong notes of vanilla with lighter ones or chocolate. On the first taste I gut punched in the mouth with spiciness…is it clove or nutmeg? Followed by vanilla with a coffee aftertaste. Loving the complexity. Alcohol is hidden initially but this is a slow sipper to be sure. Feels lightly carbonated and not full at all. Overall an excellent stout.

S: Chocolate, coffee, alcohol.
T: Chocolate, coffee, alcohol. Very boozy for just 9.2% ABV.
F: Medium bodied, lots of flavor but somewhat covered by booziness.
O: Very tasty imperial stout but it's overly boozy.
