Pours golden brown, with a light, brown head of foam. Aroma is an unusual profile of orange. It is orange with a highly chemical smell. A faint chocolate can also be detected. That unusual aroma of orange is carried through to taste and, while orange is detected, little else is.
There are enough imperial stouts out there. Try those first.

This is not my day for beer. On paper, this sounds like a delicious orange chocolate stout. In reality, it has an orange cleaning solution aroma. The head lathers up and burns away, much like an orange-sol bucket of water. The flavor is on par. I get the sense it wants to be something, but the orange comes off very artificial. At $12 a 12 oz beer, this is wholly disappointing.
A little later on, once it warms a lot more and gets more oxygen, a little of the cloying disinfectant vibe goes away…a little. This probably needs some time on the shelf, plus an extended warming and aeration period. The lingering flavor on the tongue isn’t bad, but the up-front assault is too off-putting to rate it higher right now.
