Clear yet opaque dark brown body; fairly thick, lasting head for the ABV and chili presence, light khaki appearance and semi-creamy. Incredibly beautiful nose; malty with chili undertones; a touch of white oak and bourbon. The taste amplifies the smell; bolder chili pepper flavor; outstanding blend of sweet cocoa and bourbon notes; spice notes of curry, cinnamon and cardoman. Heavy body; generally smooth texture from the residual sugars nicely counterpointed with a boozy warmth.
I love rich, dark beers combined with a fiery chili pepper heat. This Estonian endeavor is well-crafted, excellent balance and complexity exhibited throughout. It's just a fantastic beer.
