Copenhagen 24/2 2024. 33 cl bottle from Beer Me web-shop. Dark red and gold label with ornaments in a circular design and Sori's logo in center.
Pours opaque hazy dark brown with a small beige head Bubbly. Leaves a paper thin rim of foam behind running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark and sweet odor mingling malts and alcohol. Dark malts, brown sugar, toffee and liqueur. Port wine and boozy wood. Licorice and metal.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, a bit sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately intense sourness. Aftertaste is a tad sugary and sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet with a strange tart touch.
Barrel boozer a bit on the sweet side.
