Brewed with a fifth Finnish rye malt to give it a strong sweet and peppery malt base, the hops are still the focus and we used Talus to give this beer it's special character. Expect intense citrus, floral and woody flavours with notes of grapefruit, coconut and pine. Finally we added some caraway seeds to round out the beer and enhance the spicy and woody flavours.

Copenhagen 20/2 2024. 44 cl can from Beer-Me webshop. Very colorful can with one half in warm orange colors and the other in cool blue. Logos from the the two involved breweries.
Pours unclear dark amber with a small off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing-
Aroma is medium intense with a strong odor of rye malts mingling with a distinct scent of citric fumes. Sweet malts, musty clothes and black pepper. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. A bit rough. Finish is dry.
Bitter Indian Pale Ale with a firm malty base of Rye.
