Taster at Grav South. Clear golden with small foamy head. Grainy aroma and taste, small bitter bite at the end. Not enough of a bite for a pils, comes off more as a lager. When I had this, is was brewed by Plow Brewing

It's not even close to a german pilsner. Nolt a bad beer but if they're trying to be a german pilsner, it misses by a country mile!

July 28th, 2015 - Plow doesn't explain how they hybridize a Central/Western European style with an American tradition, but it certainly doesn't taste like a pils. Instead - and I had another friend verify - it both smells and tastes like Raisin Bran cereal. I mean, it is an absolute dead ringer for the cereal, and while it is still drinkable it doesn't quite feel like a brew to me.

Pale straw gold, big airy head slowly shrinks to nothing.
Aromas is herbal hop, honeyed bread - nice, full aroma.
Taste is wonderful German pilsner character - airy, zesty, zingy, lively herbal hop bitterness, with balancing light honeyed bread, herbal hop finish with sweet bread aftertaste. It's crisp, lively, engaging, an outstanding pilsner.
