Crystal clear cimarron with auburn highlights. Light coffee brown head, fairly thin and silken. Definitely more of an English Brown vibe with a heavy caramel, honeyed almond and glazed pecan sweetness. Sweetness too much of a one note to be go crazy about. Taste follows the nose with the addition of walnut, light cherry, and savory bacony quality. The smoke saves it somewhat, but it's subtle. Still a lot of sweetness. Quaffable with med-high carb that keeps the sweetness from cloying. Not what I'm craving at the moment, but something I'd drink again.
