A: Dark brunette or hickory, just a shade lighter than black. A rather clear pour with a great camel colored, ultra smooth solid 1" of head. Retention is phenomenal as it slowly fades down into a dark abyss, the lighter colored tufts of tan cream remain.
S: I figure this is what a Seattle coffee shop could smell like that sells beer on the side. Bold green hoppiness, cold pressed coffee, I close my eyes and it could be a West Coast IPA. A touch of fig, concord grape, clementine, and resin.
M: Looks heavier than it is. Definitely drinks like an IPA. Hinges on medium bodied with a slight creaminess. Med-high carbonation.
T: Coffee flavored lady fingers. Chocolate covered citrus...even a bit of mango. Malts are a bit on the roasted side while still retaining a bit of sweetness. They hold up well with the very piney, floral, resin driven hops.
