This was a nice find of a Wisconsin brewed Oktoberfest...It carries a real heavy toasted maltiness and comes across sweetish and rich....some spicy hops balance it just a bit.....I like Ofests that leans malty and sweet and this fits the bill..lacks the melanoidins the Germans feature but I think this is one of the better made American ofests I've had...I just did a blind taster with six oktoberfests and this finished 3rd...I had Spaten at 95....New Glarus at 90 and this at 80....the others were Mankato (73), Point (70) and Oso (61)
