976903|La Pirata / La Quince / Guineu Vanilla Black Block|Cerveses La Pirata|6|4|6|4|15|3.5|Bottle at The Situation, served in a snifter glass. Black colour, minimal brown head that doesn't hold, just a line of lacing. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, licorice, nuts and coffee. Medium to full body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, bitter finish. Taste follows the aroma. I can't say it's a bad beer, but there's something in it that I don't like.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with a tiny bit of head. Good carbonation. Nose is vanilla! Huge malts, fudge, toffee, maple, and some smooth dark fruit. The taste is perfect. Big chocolate fudge, vanilla, some roasted malts, blackberries, maple, licorice, and some mild campfire smoke. Wood. Very good! The mouthfeel is fairly thick and creamy. Overall, a wonderful stout.

De Labirratorium. En copa Basqueland
Viendo el Juego del Calamar, último capítulo temporada 1. Bastante mejor que las birras de la serie black Velvet, la pirata le ha dado el toque de calidad que les faltaba. Marcado perfil a vainilla muy rica, nada cargante, y bien integrada con alcohol del que aporta y no molesta. Incluso se hace de fácil trago
