Pours a cloudy, pale golden amber coloration with lots of tiny floaters and medium, fluffy head initially, turning a hazy, orange coloration upon final pour. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, citrus hops, with notes of mango, papaya and grapefruit. Taste is a good balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly herbal and dank hops, with tropical and citrus notes of mango, papaya, hints of coconut, grapefruit and orange, with just a hint of mint and herbal weed. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some mango, grapefruit and mint lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

When I bought this, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, mainly because of the stunning artwork, interpreting the BB-date as 9 months. However, I only later noticed the importer's sticker being identical to the BB-date and that's always one year. While I will admit that this is still surprisingly drinkable for an IPA that is over 6 months old, the hops do feel rather faded and this only maintains its good mango character because of the added mango. There are vague hints of coconut, mint and grapefruit from the Sabro and Citra hops, although these feel kinda washed out and not well-defined, with a light bitterness in the finish as well. I don't bump up scores for old IPAs anymore. As far as I'm concerned, if you set a 12-month BB-date for your IPAs, you fully deserve the bad rating.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Jugando a Fortnite. Perfil a mango marcado pero sin quitar protagonismo al lúpulo, resultando en una birra de esas que te dan ganas de beberlas más rápidos de lo aconsejable por su abv
