Not gonna review this as a NEIPA, far more resemblance to a more trad imperial. Pretty looking sightly hazy, dark-golden pour with a thick sticky cap that leaves a ton of lace. Aromas and flavors are very similar with candied citrus dominating. Not exactly my thing, but seems well-crafted. Mouthfeel and finish are slightly cloying and sweet.

Sampled on tap at the brewery in June 2021. From old tasting notes.

The appearance is hazy yellow with moderate clarity.

I pick up a spicy, ashy, and pine aroma along with those cereal grains and vague caramel malts. Deep below.

Medium mouthfeel.

The taste is sweet but for sure I also get a spicy and peppery character to balance things out. I was out with friends and this was a decent brew to share with those friends.

Can from the Packie
Somewhat hazy orange grapefruit color with a decent sized frothy white head that persists. Topical pineapple and citrus with sweet bready maltiness to counter. Pretty nice DIPA.

Canned on 3-8-21, consumed on 4-5-21
Pours an orangi-ish color. Very hazy and murky. There's a 2 finger white head. There's good retention, and nice lacing on the glass. The nose seems muted. There's a bit of a citrus aroma from the hops, but a lot less than expected.
Taste - well, citrus, from the hops. There's some pineapple, and mango hitting me, but very muted for an IPA.
The body is soft, creamy, and juicy.
It's an ok IPA, but seems to be lacking a bit.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 3/08/21. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with really nice retention. 4.5

Aroma is peach, papaya, pineapple, and ripe melon. 4.25

Taste follows peach, honeydew, papaya, and pineapple. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above average, fairly soft gentle carbonation, maybe a little sticky but not dry, and at 7.6% it goes down really easy. 4.25

Overall this I would definitely get again, a very nice NEDIPA at an excellent price. 4.25
