From a 16oz can - packaged 11/15/21.....purchased at the brewery...

Poured into my Smutty sniftah..... it's an oily black hole. Can't see anything in the way of carbo within. Topping is a creamy, frothy layer of rich mocha-hued foam. The suds subsides a bit, but still leaves a nice covering layer with lovely lacing. Aroma has choco syrup, roasty malts and a touch of coffee. Body is medium to medium-plus, with a creamy, smooth feel overall.

It's nicely tasty, with semi-sweet choco and cocoa powder leading off. Has a bit more of coffee and roasty dark malts in the dry finish, with a smidge of floral hopping in the warming denouement.... Solid! Prosit!!

On tap at the source.
Inky black in color with a decent sized frothy tan head that persists.
Rich chocolate and roasted malt with hints of caramel and dark dried stone fruits. Light alcohol warming, nice sipper

From a 16 oz. can that announces it was canned in November 2021. Sampled Nov 27, 2021 so fairly fresh.

Deep dark brown to jet black appearance underneath a modest, lingering tan mocha head. Some lacing.

The aroma is exclusively roasted dark malts with chocolate and coffee esters . Some earth. Some cream. Some char.

Medium to full mouthfeel.

The taste is at first sweet until the chocolate and coffee malts roll in an overtake the experience. Some cream. Warming. Earthy hops. A delight.

16oz can dated 11/15/21.

Pours opaque dark brown with an inch-plus of tan head. Big ropes of lacing with persistent retention. Charred malt with espresso, bakers chocolate and roast in the nose. Full bodied with an almost chewy mouthfeel. Burnt espresso beans with bitter chocolate on the palate. Finishes dry with lingering char.
