32oz crowler, sample from the brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy reddish brown hue, creamy looking lacing on top stays around for a while. Smells of banana bread and banana taffy with a slight hint of clove and other ripe fruit. Smooth and very creamy, lots of body with a mellow but boozy character within. 10.3% ABV is noticeable but well placed as the maltiness is like a loaf of bread. A much more pronounced clove and ripe banana character on the palate. Very easy to sip, a lot going on there that distracts you from its strength. A lot of fun to taste, would love to see more of these beers from Lionstone.
