this is really exceptional, super dank and heady, amazingly fresh, flavorful, and robust, my favorite from these guys so far, very dialed in, yum! its honey colored from the can, not all the way clear, holding an airy near two inches of white head, relaxing slowly, looks great. sticky and ripe smelling, hints of peach, sweet orange, and sativa, i get gin botanicals and pine too, and some definite malt sweetness although not accompanied by any toasted or kilned type notes, its way lighter than that, but seemingly intentionally off dry. the flavor is all hops, and even the pungent nose doesnt prepare my taste buds for the intensity, especially on the swallow, a super late climax to this one and such a delicious palate coating long lasting hop finish, honeydew and verbena, clean bong rip and pine sap, floral honey and citrus, its gorgeous. i like the malt sweetness here too, which is rare for me, but it extends and enhances this in a really neat way. its not heavy to drink for how flavorful it is, and i am almost surprised to see the abv in normal range, just seems like folks usually make beer this hoppy like 9% abv or something. highly refined too though, its not a mess and its not green at all even though it packs some late bitterness. overall this was awesome, probably my favorite hoppy beer i had in california this week...
