Canned on 4./23/19. I've been to Cooperage itself, but I can't recall any offerings I've had from the can. Regardless, a hazy pale ale? Sign me up. Let's dive in.
L: Pours a uniform unfiltered straw golden yellow in appearance. Not transparent but not completely opaque either. About 2 fingers of a bubbly stark white capped formed from a regular pour and dissipated at an average rate. Minimal residual lacing on the glass.
S: Very fruity with hints of grass. Orange, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple and mango are all detectible on the nose, with a nice earthy/grassy undertone. It smells fresh and enticing.
T: As the nose lended, very fruity. Citrus and a cascade of tropical fruits comprise the flavor profile. The finish has a hoppy/grassy presence right at the finish with lingering flavors of lemon, pineapple and mango. More juice-forward than hoppy, but has just the right amount allowing the two to compliment one another.
F: Light in terms of body and weight. Carbonation is average for the style, still giving a clean finish with appropriate fizzle on the tongue. No booze presence, which is expected from a 5.8 percent APA.
O: I've said it before and I will say it again, APAs in the NE style are my jam. Light, refreshing, tasty and won't put you out of commission. This is, and I will say it, crushable, and in the best sense. I am very glad to try this, and I would recommend/have again. Cheers!

Look: Light straw color, hazy but thin looking body, lower than average head formation, but great lacing.

Smell: Tropical juice, lots of pineapple, a touch of dankness; the nose is fairly pungent.

Taste: Hops dominate the malt, and the smell is replicated to a T; very pleasant overall.

Feel: Light mouthfeel (great for a new-age APA), medium carbonation, no discernible alcohol.

Overall: Another great example of a crushable new-gen pale that's laden with bright hoppy flavors.
