big thanks to my buddy for sending this one out, along with some other cans from these guys, this is my first from them, aside from a hazy sort of wild tasting mango or something seltzer that is, never even heard their name before, but i am on board now, this is really good, especially in a style that is tending more and more samey, cheap, and over fruited, this one is still beer first, the souring is real clean, and the added fruits really work well together. uncommon combination of grapefruit, passion fruit, and apricot, and i can smell and taste all three. i love how forward and real the grapefruit is, and with the acidity of the base beer its especially authentic, almost a paloma vibe here, perfect tang. the passion fruit is next most prominent, natural as well, highly fragrant, also with compatible sourness, adding a tropical element to this, umbrella drink vibes from this fruit contribution. mouthwatering. the apricot is the most subtle to me, and adds a little sweetness with the malt, but is well behind the other two fruits in the flavor, still i think it adds an important wrinkle to this, and the beer overall ends up being much more complex than a lot of these are, even with a simple and clean fermentation profile. the fruits all play super well together, the acidity is perfect, and i can taste some grain in the mix as well, so its not all fruit. very solid offering here, cool combination of fruits, very well done base kettle sour. looking forward to the others in my fridge from these guys!

Quite sour at first! The guava is the most forward, with notes of pineapple. Tried but really didn’t detect notes of mango. Mellows out A LOT when allowed to warm up slightly (Much better IMO)
