Brewery draft. Pours orange copper. White foam clings and wraps around. Strong pine, heavy hop. Nose and taste. Chewy, strong bitter finish. Balances out. Tasty IPA, spicy.

I had this on draught at the brewery. It poured an attractive tangerine color with a foamy, egg-shell colored head and lacing with good retention. It has a nice smell of tangerine, grapefruit, grass, and pine. The taste follows the nose but there is a nice malt base and the pine needles came through in the taste more than the nose. You can taste the hops at the finish but they aren't particularly bitter. This ale is medium-bodied and the 6.6% gives it substance but it isn't overpowering. Overall, this is a very good IPA. It isn't a hop bomb but if you like fruit and some malt in you IPA, then you'll enjoy this one.
