Appearance: beautiful amber color with a one finger head that lasted a bit before falling to a spotty covering.
Smell: some fruit and malt sweetness is detectable.
Taste: big malt profile. Bread, dark fruit sweetness, hint of nuts, some honey, and some alcohol tones are the main flavors. Bitterness is mild.
Mouthfeel: heavy in body. Smooth from start to finish with a warming alcohol lingers into the aftertaste.
Overall: this was an enjoyable doppelbock and I found this satisfying.
