Dark cola appearance.
About medium carbonation with about the same for the body which all added up to a decent feel.
Aroma is a nice mix of malt, roasted malt, roasted grains, dark bread and cereal.
Taste doesn't stray too far from the aroma.
Overall its a really well done beer, flavorful, nice feel with a great aroma.

Attractive pouring beer, very dark brown but you can see a glistening clarity; light brown head, white bubbly and quick to deflate; weak semi transparent film is what sticks around, then just some islands and a ring.
Nose is flaky dry chocolate, sawdust like, light roast, and darkened white bread toast; both become more noticeable as it warms.
The taste is nicely chocolate, it’s very noticeable but also very light; the roast pops on the finish leaving me with aftertaste reminiscent of the wood I got off the nose.
Light body, but nice and full; medium carb, smooth and creamy, nice little subtle bite of roast and bitterness on the finish; dry, touches close to parching for a second, begging you to succumb and take the next sip.

A surprisingly intense black lager. There are extras--intensively roasted, and a smoky quality reminiscent of German schwarzbier. It pours jet black, and has a fairly rich mouthfeel. Not stout rich, but heading in that direction. Was prepared to be bored, but this Czig Meister effort is interesting. Wait for a chill night, and enjoy.

Very dark but light going down. A lot of coffee and chocolate notes but has the feel of a lager. Pretty interesting. Give it a try.
