Nose: passionfruit, papaya,, mango, grapefruit, some pine.
Taste: right along those lines. Finishes rather clean and very little aftertaste or lingering bitterness.

Czig Meister Brewing Co. "Deep Sea Series - Boom Haka Rakau"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$3.49 @ Roger Wilco, Pennsauken, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Beautiful label with nice graphics, but what's with having no codes on a NE IPA? It looks good in the glass as well, at least for a NE IPA. It's cloudier than a hefeweizen, and really looks like a milkshake beer. The body is a kind of tan-gold-orange in appearance beneath a finger-thick head of creamy white foam. The aroma is surprisingly limited for a NE IPA and all I'm finding is some basic citrus and a touch of pine. Odd. Is it because there's so much yeast? No, that doesn't make any sense. Weird. On to the flavor... hmmm, pretty much the same, citrusy and piney without being that bold or clear as to any particular flavors. It's not bad but it's not great. A firm bitterness backs it and it finishes dry with some residual pine and resin. In the mouth it's light-medium in body and smooth with yeast and a median carbonation level. Not their best, but not that bad either.
